Mr. Daren

Hello! My name is Daren and I have worked in Before and After School Programs for over six years in Lethbridge and have my Level 2 in ECE. I obtained a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge in 2018 and am very passionate about helping children become both competent and confident at moving their bodies and learning fundamental movement patterns. I am a huge advocate for unstructured, child-led games & activities because I believe that children thrive when they are doing things that they want to be doing.

A few of my hobbies include going to the gym, playing sports such as golf and baseball, and spending time with my friends and family. My long-term goals include pursuing my Level 3 certification in ECE, as well as starting my own fitness or sport related business. I enjoy getting to know the children and families at St. Sebastian School and want to foster positive connections with the students and their families.
